Police learned of the situation shortly after midnight when officers responded to a call from a resident at the Meadow Park apartment complex about people banging on the door to their apartment. Lieutenant Mike Sadauskis says the 19 and year-old women pounding on the door explained they had just been beaten and robbed, and a witness falsely told them the people responsible lived in the apartment.
The 2 women indicated they had arranged to purchase a couple ounces of marijuana through a person they did not know via conversations online through the Snapchat app. Sadauskis says officers, using some online tracking tools, identified a woman living nearby as a possible suspect but she was able to provide an alibi.
As of this afternoon, there had been no arrests in the case. In. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter.
