At 34, the actress as become a fashion icon, steering away from super youthful, risky fashions in favor of classier staples with that old-hollywood essence we love so much. So when we heard that Angie had updated her do for a new movie she’s shooting (called “The Tourist”), we got very excited.
And then… we were very dissappointed.
Angelina got some highlights.

Not that they don’t look great, they do! But, is it really headline news that Angelina Jolie got some chunky, non-offensive, highlights? I mean, Lady GaGa is still around right? I’m sure she’s doing something MUCH more exciting with her hair.
Angelina looks great as always. Even though we wanted something that was a bit more exciting, maybe a bit more off the beaten path of hair styles, she does look great. And if you’re looking for a way to update your hair without looking completely different and without having to empty your wallet, highlights are a GREAT idea!
Highlights add movement, texture and depth to any hairstyle. Most hairstyles, especially shorter ones, are dependant on highlights and color. A great hair cut can fall completely flat without giving it some color depth.
Highlights are a simply way to update your color. You don’t need to completely color your hair, which can be costly to maintain, to get a new look. And don’t forget about low-lights as well!
